According to new research stress may in fact be good for you! The determining factor may depend on what your belief system is about stress. If you believe that stress is good for you and positive then the negative effects and higher mortality rates associated with high stress levels can be counteracted (even eliminated). It is proving to be an even more true statement, that keeping a positive outlook and belief system is critical for optimal mental and physical health.
