What I Didn’t Expect Created Our New Life-Coaching Program!

Being grateful for surprises and making a bigger impact!

Have you ever had something unexpected open your eyes to a completely different thought process? Like you discovered an important missing piece to a puzzle?

This happened to me recently and I will be forever grateful! Please allow me to explain.

Throughout my career it has become increasing clear the ability to educate and coach effectively is a critical component for being effective as a physical therapist. Clinical skills are a must but they matter little without first being able to connect and motivate people!

With this thought in mind I signed up for a Life-Coach training curriculum a while back with the hopes of having more meaningful conversations with patients, being more effective at coaching them to make positive change, and to convey the information to our team. My hope was ultimately to make all of us better educators and facilitators of change. It was enlightening and I got more than expected!

We learned there are 6 basic human needs that are under the surface that effect our actions, emotions, and behaviors (will talk about this in future but if you remember Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs this a hybrid of some of those concepts).

The strategies used and how well we meet these needs compared to our values either add to or detract from our perception of progress and fulfillment. Awareness of what matters most to you and aligning actions with your values is a key for finding motivation, making lasting change, and for achieving a more fulfilled state.

There are basic strategies and structures that when understood and followed, make all the difference in achieving balance, reaching your goals, and being more successful in all aspects of your life.

How would it feel to eliminate your barriers, make progress on things that matter to you, and to be successful in achieving your goals?

A working understanding of basic principles, a game plan, and consistent direction is the foundation we all need. It is a missing piece for most people, that fits into the bigger picture of our musculoskeletal health and well-being.

I have seen the amazing impact the preceding has on others and have experience it myself! When you make progress, belief in yourself increases, and you can accomplish more physically, mentally, and emotionally.

We can all benefit from this knowledge and if acted upon can make all the difference in the life you experience! It is our goal to expose you and as many people as possible to the information so you can achieve improved health, greater success, and of course to thrive!

It is the catalyst for our success program we brought in at the beginning of the year, thrive weekly video training, and the reason that I am excited to announce our new Program-Thrive Life-Coaching!
